Bio:

Terry Stephen’s photographs and paintings are designed to inspire the viewer to pause a moment and live through his eyes.  His vivid imagery allows a glimpse into his soul, conveying feelings along with the images.

Growing up on a farm endowed Terry with an appreciation for nature and an ability to see beauty in any environment.  His sensitivity to his surroundings allows him to see the art in ordinary situations and objects.  Terry has a unique ability to allow others to feel his reality through his art.

Terry credits his 7th grade art teacher, Mrs. Miller, for inspiring him to express his feelings through art.  Her encouragement gave him the confidence to enter local art fairs and the Dalton Art Guild where he networked with other local young artists, and ultimately allowed him to become the artist he is today.

Terry moved to Atlanta in 1996 and studied interior design at the Art Institute of Atlanta.  He has continued his art education by taking classes in photography and painting.

Terry’s artwork is expressed through various media including digital photography and image manipulation, acrylic paints, and pastels.  His paintings and photographs are sold nationally through his independent business.
